First of all excellent design. I don't think there is a better design. The rubber pad is also thick, durable and good looking. But what all stands out, or should stand out, is the widow's chrome inlay. Look at the picture. Without it it's just average, and here's the thing: the insert is just chrome-plated cheap hard plastic! It's in the grooves of the rubber. Since it's rubber, it will flex and flex when you put your foot on it, but since the hard plastic insert can't flex, it usually breaks right at the skull. The chrome then peels off, leaving only the bare yellow plastic. And since your widow inlay is now broken, the pieces can fall out and be lost! Kuryakin could easily fix this: just put in decent metal inserts that can bend but not break. Heck, there's so little material in a narrow inlay that no matter how much the material costs, it can't matter: there just isn't enough of it! Shame on you, Kuyakyn! I wonder if I would ever trust any of your products again. (Oh mine only lasted 5 rides before it started! Not very durable at $170!)
