My sun parrot loves this food! For some reason he sorts the orange pieces and eats them last. I have no idea what he's thinking or why he's doing this - maybe the orange pieces aren't as tasty as the other colors, or maybe they're so unusual and tasty that he's saving them for dessert - who knows! I laugh every time I see a layer of oranges on his plate - he's there like a little bean counter, sorting out the universe and putting it back in order. Since my sun conure is quick to pick up this stuff, I switched to a 12lb bag as it's cheaper in bulk! Purchase a small bag if this brand/species of bird is new to you if it doesn't match your feathered companion.
