I believe it does what it says on the tin
I bought this bottle to filter my tap water instead of a fitted filter because my sink is too small. The first time I used it I took a few sips of water and spat them out and they were blackish. And after that it's clear. So I think it works, but it doesn't improve the taste of the water at all. I wonder what would be in my tap water that this filter doesn't eliminate? I'll stop for now because I'm too lazy to look for anything else.
