Review on 📸 YONGNUO YN685: High-Speed Wireless Flash Speedlite for Nikon DSLR Cameras by Joel Gardner

I bought this to be able to change flash settings remotely with my 622N-TX (without having to use the bulky 622 receiver on each flash to get remote slave capability ). The 685 has good power output and fast reloads (faster than my 560III). However, when I change the power setting of the 622N-TX on my camera, the flash does not update the power settings until the shutter is released (or the "test" button on the 622N-TX is pressed). I'm not sure if this is normal with other wireless controller systems. All other features work as advertised. I will be buying more of these to replace my manual-only flashes.
