I've been buying Nautica shoes for my children since I was a child because I'm all about functionality. Nautica shoes are built to last, I don't buy many pairs of shoes for my kids as they keep getting bigger, but the few that do have should be of good quality and I find that in Nautica. I bought these for my 6 year old girl. Fits as expected, very light, comfortable, she can walk, run and bike on it. They are also durable and will last her until she needs the next size up. Remember that every child's feet are different. So if your child seems to need extra arch support (mentioned in other reviews), look for his shoes. then according to their needs.
