Good sound, picks up stations very well, even AM works great. With many companies cutting costs, it's nice to have batteries, a cleaning cloth, and a power cord included. I'm glad I bought this radio.

ProsNice radio. Good layout of controls. Excellent sound and FM reception. Cons: AM doesn't pick up the stations I've found on other cheap radios. In fact, hardly any stations appear or are drowned out by noise. I bought this mainly for AM and it's useless. sent back. So if you just want FM radio, that's fine. Great FM sound.

I listen to a lot of talk shows and classic rock on AM and FM. This radio is the BEST! I bought my first Panasonic transistor pocket radio about 45 years ago and I still have it! I assume that's exactly how it is. The sound, signal strength and quality are still the best. If you're a classic like me, you'll love this radio as much as I do. Buy it and you won't be disappointed.

This little radio was a great buy. I've had portable radios since the 60's and this design is the best I've had. I am impressed, as others have stated, with the ease with which this radio picks up signals and with the tuning display to help you find stations. I can find more stations with a clearer signal than an older larger device. The sound is very good for a small portable device.

Excellent radio, sound, reception, control and quality, everything I've come to expect from a regular outdoor AM-FM radio. Immediate delivery like next day. The description is accurate. I would appreciate it with all the starts but it's my own fault I didn't read where it says "MONO" earbuds. Didn't know they were even made. For me it upset the whole radio. There was no point in reducing the score here! I can't send it back, it's my own fault!

Everyone is right. That's a great radio! I bought it for my car because my radio wasn't working and it cost $1200 to replace. Pooh. Instead, I decided to buy a portable radio. In the meantime my son repaired my car radio. I thought I would return the walkie-talkie. When it arrived I wanted to test it out to see how good it is. I don't give it back I put it by my bed and listen to NPR or music. The speaker is amazing! Nice looking radio.

Ordered a portable radio after my other backup systems failed during Hurricane Florence. I'm just amazed that even though it's surrounded by flooded and isolated cities like Wilmington, North Carolina, they received it two days ahead of schedule. I will never understand how they did it! The radio itself was a pleasant surprise. I live halfway between Wilmington and Myrtle Beach and have no problem reaching stations in either. The volume is strong and the selectivity between stations is better…

Bought late January 2020 now this radio turns off after 69-90 seconds. Reconnects after a few smacks/knocks, but disconnects again after 60-90 seconds. And yes, the batteries have been changed, but the problem is the same. Repairing consumer electronics in the 21st century is not really possible as we are no longer dealing with solder joints, tubes etc. but with blocks of semiconductor integrated circuits that either work or don't. The solid state circuits supplied by Panasonic are sub-standard
