This lotion has worked great for my 10 month old baby with eczema. Your skin becomes quite dry and very rough to the touch with red patches. This lotion is not a complete cure for her eczema, but it definitely helps keep my daughter's skin from drying out completely. I've tried Aveeno, Eucerin and Cetaphil, none of them worked like this lotion, some made it even worse. When our first bottle of this lotion ran out I tried giving up and used other baby lotions I had on hand, thinking I had the eczema under control, but her skin started to feel rough again; That's when I realized the importance of this lotion in keeping eczema under control. I immediately ordered a new bottle and after a few days her skin was soft again. I'll never run out of this lotion again! My daughter was prescribed a hydrocortisone steroid cream for her eczema, but we found that applying it to her skin twice a day and then using a honey-based eczema cream for her hot spots (elbows, back of the knees and ankles) must relieve us use it unless she gets sick in hot weather.
