Review on Magnetic 135X80Mm Flexible ANYCUBIC 5 3X3 15Inch) by Christian Byrd

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Requires better buildplate adhesion.

So I've bought this build sheet twice now. It first arrived on 5/7/21 and the adhesive holding the magnetic strip to the build platform began to fail after about a month. 25.06 my second one has arrived. Until I looked at the 1st order I didn't even realize I had only had it a month when it started to fail. Then yesterday I installed the 2nd, and yes I know how to clean the platform properly, and how to install it properly, it wasn't for me, I'm not a noob. The 2nd plate did not successfully complete its first print. When the print was complete the entire build plate, magnetic backing and everything else was glued onto the FEP which I installed literally at the same time! Everything was fine with the protection of the print head, but not so much in the end. The downside of SLA printers is the inability to track the first hundred or so layers due to the overall design, but that's neither here nor there. Thing is, it went wrong, I didn't know to the end, ruining the tank with resin and the Anycubic FEP/frame deal that's about $20 for 2. Plus you know how hard it is to find those stupid things in stock. ? So there's $10, that's at least $20 for a replacement, plus maybe 250mg of resin, so another $7/8 or so, not to mention the poor prints of the first plate that didn't last 5 weeks. I haven't been too strict with the star count yet as I'd like to give the manufacturer a chance to fix things. Made a replacement for Revine and number 3 is on its way under the pretense that I am returning number 2 within 30 days. What do I think should happen? A pound of abs and a baseplate for supplies, and maybe some glue that they know will be effective for next-time repairs. I know that by writing this I only conclude that I cannot recommend this product in its current state. But I'll leave that open and look forward to better liability response in the future, as well as "how can we fix this?" being an issue. So, I am waiting for this news and if something is done with the destroyed FEP and resin I will be more than happy to give more stars and a good optimistic happy update. If the message doesn't get through, the stars I placed will disappear and I'll reconsider the 1st buildplate and the 3rd if that also fails. I think yes it's cheap BUT when you consider after 5 weeks ruined prints "not to mention you never get a good print on day one", ruined resin tubs and ruined it's incredibly heavy To acquire patented FEP is more of a financial burden than anything else. still. Btw, I have 2 "forgive me if the spelling is wrong" sowols, and another disk killed one of those FEP sheets, but for about $4 I wasn't too upset. But those $20 for 2 packs for my vat of ABS sting more, especially on print #1! I'll give you a chance guys, contact me and make it right. You see my name here, hmm on Revane. Thanks in advance and I hope this helps everyone involved in some way.
