If you have an old house/apartment that ONLY has 2-pin sockets or at least mostly 2-pin sockets, this extension is for you. In my case, our house has mostly 3-prong outlets (upstairs), but our basement has limited outlet coverage, with half having 3-prong options and half only having 2-prong options. We recently added a library section there and the corner we placed it in was mostly just covered by the 2 pin option so I needed an easy way to connect my 3 pin devices to a surge protector/stretch plugged into a 2-pin socket. It includes 10 AC outlets, 4 USB ports, a 6 foot cable and wall mounting capability. The USB ports have a combined current output of 3.4A, with each slot delivering approximately 2.4A. The on/off indicator light is easy to see from a distance, and the power outlets are spaced far apart so you might be able to use the larger station forks, which are fine (although I haven't really used one worth mentioning). testing). The quality is very good and makes a robust impression. However, I will say that the mounting option, while available, is a bit inconvenient. I installed it on a joist in our basement so it can add to the clunky character, but I expect it will be a little confusing even on a regular wall. It mounts well and stays intact and stable, but I think the hole size on the back is moderately small (at least in my opinion) as it (the device) sticks out a bit beyond what you would expect. It's not a big deal, but I think if you're using larger headed nails it might be a slight fit or aesthetic issue. For travel purposes I docked it a bit as the cable is a bit stiff which can make it difficult to place or store in certain locations. I would say it exceeds my expectations for versatility, comfort and ease of use; It lives up to expectations in terms of installation/assembly (just wanted to clarify that it sticks out a bit) as well as ease of portability (stiffness of the cable). Additionally, the number of outlets included is more than worth the price; add 4 USB ports and it makes it a steal. Any clumsiness or stiffness of the cable is nothing more than a small flash in the overall picture. I give it 4.2 stars out of 5 (9.25 out of 10). Buy with confidence.
