Review on 🧼 Efficient Hairbrush Cleaning Made Easy with Denman DBC1 Cleaning Brush by Sandy Bartlett

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A staple of my grooming tools

I bought this brush in 2011 (writing April 2016). I have severe dandruff and need a headband to keep my hair from drying out and becoming brittle. Next, no matter how gentle I am, I will still go with hair on my grooming tool as I seem to shed fairly easily, almost like a cat (but my fur still manages to be thick and luscious!). Therefore, building up loose hair and products requires me to clean my brushes and combs every day. My fine-toothed comb picks up excess dandruff and hair so well that I often have to brush it at least twice. Therefore, this comb cleaner is an essential part of my hair care tools. I use the tip to select the hairs in my brushes, then use the larger area of the brush to clean up whatever's left. Any stubborn lint etc clinging to the bristles of my brush is given special attention due to the small brushing area of this tool. I use the same part of the tool to remove stubborn residue from my fine-toothed comb. This tool has held up incredibly well to daily use, although the Denman lettering has now worn off and one or two of the bristles have become slightly deformed from constant use. But apart from that, after five years of regular and intensive use, this brush cleaner still does a great job!

Pros
  • Like everything else so far
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product
