Yes, this lining is expensive. Now let's get that out of the way. Unfortunately, for many, this is simply not available. But if you can afford it, I recommend it unconditionally. My dog is a picky eater, he doesn't like pellets and it's usually difficult to get him to eat them. She liked Blue Diamond, but after reading many people describing their issues with the brand and their pets (I never had one), I decided to switch her to a new brand. After a lot of research, I decided on the Orijen brand. It must be delicious because she LOVES food. I love the ingredient list (various meats/cuts of meat make up the top fifteen ingredients) and the fact that it's made in the US and the ingredients are also sourced here. Interestingly, they don't even need to add vitamins or minerals to their diet as the variety of animal proteins and cold cuts covers all their nutritional needs. Overall I have to say that we are both very happy with Orijen.
