I am a professional interior decorator, fashion designer and fiber artist! I have been sewing for over 50 years and I know my threads very well! I got them as a gift for a young seamstress knowing I would break the box and keep a few for myself. I'm so glad I spent the extra $4. and has the size of 1000 meters! It was worth it! They are great! Very fine sewing or decorative thread for embroidery; can really be used for any type of sewing! I have worked with real silk threads and they are comparable in every way! The colors are vibrant and each spool is very different from the others, so this is a very pretty strain! The box is attractive enough for a gift. Arrived well packaged and in perfect condition! Very satisfied!
