Of all her gifts for Christmas, this gift made my 5 year old granddaughter squeal with delight. Just seeing and hearing their excitement was worth every penny! The pets are cute, although I'm wary of letting them use their regular Crayola washable pens. BUT: Pets are not completely clean. They are usually painted in the lightest color that was used. The shower didn't work. as long as it was Note that their lifespan will be short due to staining. While it says washable Crayola Markets can be used, I wouldn't recommend it simply because the ones that come with them don't wash off completely. I'll try to complete her safari set with expansion packs so she has all the animals, but I won't buy anything after that.
