Discreet but not waterproof

- looks good and is easy to use. But it's described as waterproof, and it's not. The plastic surface is filled with heavy condensation from the inside even after light rain. I have to leave it open to dry. It would probably be fine in a sheltered area, but in an open area I would only use it for true marine electronics that can handle moisture. Deep enough and roomy enough - I used it to house my marine stereo with an external SXM. Added recipient. Both are well suited for boxing wires. The marine stereo is fine but moisture got into the Sirius XM receiver and killed it after 2 weeks. The box has 2 round outlets on the back for connecting cables, both with matching rubber grommets, each about 1/2 inch in diameter. , I ran the speaker wires in one and the power, remote control and satellite dish in the second. This filled both holes. The first hole barely fit my only pair of very heavy speaker wire, I'll have to drill for more access if I decide to use a second pair of speakers. But if I use standard speaker wire it should work just fine. So there is plenty of internal room for electronics and cables, but limited/scarce room for cables to get into the back of the box and definitely not waterproof. it's more like a fender.
