I bought this light to replace an equivalent light under my underground. My wife accidentally touched a lightbulb and it broke. First I tried to remove the broken bulb but it messed up the inside of the fixture. I'm not an electrician, but I was able to install the new light without much fuss. I did the following: turned off the circuit breaker, made room for the bypass, loosened the two screws on the blue electrical box bracket with a Phillips screwdriver, carefully pulled the bracket down, loosened the black and white screws on the bracket, removed the black and white copper wires , connected the wires, black wire to the gold screw and white wire to the white screw, tightened the screws, tightened two screws on the blue or gray electrical box, screwed in the spare bulb and turned it on to bypass a circuit breaker. Place. light on. The black wire is the hot wire and the white wire is the return wire. Please note that this lamp does not have an earth wire. If you are unsure about the installation, consult a licensed electrician. For the price, this mount is reliable and represents excellent value for money. I highly recommend.
