Extension too loose

Seems to be a well designed brush but on the two locks I ordered the lock you twist to keep the head extended is of poor quality Design and with the slightest movement it opens and the thing just folds into a useless short brush that wobbles and frustrates. I ended up sealing it with electrical tape in advanced mode. The brush head should be wider. I don't know why brush manufacturers are putting out 10,000 snow brush designs, but none of them make a super wide brush. I want to erase my machine

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Not as thick as others

Why are there other brushes?

It's like the Swiss army of snow brushes. It has an ice scraper, a brush that sweeps or turns into a broom that throws snow, and even a scraper! Windscreen wipers frozen? Put some in a spray bottle and spritz it on your windshield and then scrape it off with this bad boy. Icing on an already mind-blowing ice cream? This thing is telescopic, which makes it great for storing in my car (I have a Juke, so space is limited). I watch my co-workers struggle to shake the snow off their car and I swap…

Works great really like the swivel brush

Works great so far. I've been using it for a little over a week and it works better than most other scrapers I have. I really like the pivoting brush head. Many times you don't want to push or pull the snow off the car, rather than sweeping it onto the car's roof or hood, only to have it explode again. This is your only real option with traditional scraper and brush combos. Haven't used the squeegee yet so can't comment on how well it works, although I think it's ok. The short reach of the pole

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Nice compact telescopic ice scraper/scraper and whisk

I've had one of these for YEARS and I liked that it's small enough to easily stow in my trunk but can be pushed out far enough to do the whole thing car can reach. It eventually broke (note: don't hit it on the ground to knock the snow out of the brush!) so I bought a replacement, exactly the same product. People will report that the telescoping feature doesn't lock firmly into place, so you have to constantly extend it. I think that is absolutely correct! That sucks (hence a star deduction)…

Withstands a very severe northern winter

I needed a compact snow brush that could fit in the trunk or under the seat. This worked great because it pops out and the brush head rotates. I had no problems with the lock/expand mechanism, it may not be very intuitive but very easy to use once you get the hang of it. You just have to hold the shaft and rotate the middle black part. The head also rotates easily and is held firmly in any position. I've pushed my cars with it a few dozen times, the bristles are soft and work well. The ice…

Pros
  • Highly rated by testers for support and durability
Cons
  • Strap

Description: Ice scraper, brush and scraper for removing ice and snow from windscreens etc. with retractable pole. The ice scraper is nice and wide, and the scraper and broom/brush are on a swivel head that locks in a 'straight' or 'straight' position. This is a good feature. There is no mark to remind you which way to press the release switch to unlock the brush/mop. There are no markings on how to use the extension pole, nor lines on the pole showing the limits of full extension or full…

Pros
  • Durable coating
Cons
  • Not the best

Feature Compact brush in a package

This is a compact snow brush that does not take up much space when stored, making it suitable for a small car. There are not many compact snow brushes with all four functions, namely scraper, brush, wiper and telescopic handle. I also looked at the Hopkins/SubZero brand brushes and found that they generally have stiffer bristles than Mallory's so are more likely to scratch your car. Mallory's brushes are gentler on the paintwork. On the negatives, the handle for turning the brush is too tight…

Pros
  • Nice thing
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Not bad but needs work

Decent whisk but with some notable design flaws. Firstly, the knob to adjust the head is too intrusive/high, causing problems when cleaning under the crossbars. and/or bike racks on the roof rack so it rotates when you don't want it to. The ratchet yoke for the extension would benefit from the improvement as it requires a lot of torque to install and to prevent the extension from expanding or collapsing during use. The other downside is that the bristles fall off too easily, falling out over a…

Disappointed - not the best quality

I had a great no name telescopic swivel head whisk that I bought from Bed Bath and Beyond about 5 years ago for $9.99 plus the ubiquitous 20% coupon have. It was a great brush aside from the price, but it ended up dying in the middle of the terrible winter we had. I tried BBB but they don't carry them anymore. This brush appears to have similar traits, but it's nothing more than a headache. Even though it has a telescoping handle, it doesn't snap into place. So if you're pushing heavy, wet…
