Multipurpose zippers.
They are suitable for a wide range of applications. I originally bought them to help me organize items for consignment sales. It was nice to have an extra layer of security to secure my garments to the hangers. I have also used them in many external projects. I use them to attach plastic fences to metal/wooden posts to make a compost pile and also use them to attach posts to my shelves outside (for plants).
