Kids have never asked "how much more" when watching a DVD. This is a good budget option for entertaining two children. There are a few cords, but after installation I twisted the excess loose ends. The harness was easy to attach and detach from the front headrests without undoing the latch. Both the monitors and cables fit into a large kids' lunch box, so we can leave them in the car without seeing the electronics. There is some noise in the sound. (it has a lot of noise if you wire it wrong ;). The sound in the speakers is fine for slower freeway speeds, but for full freeway speeds the kids had to use headphones. Both screens switch to the same volume when adjusted with the remote control. (It's impossible to make one louder than the other). picture is fine. The remote control could have been better (small buttons and a couple of initially non-obvious ones) but the older kid figured it out. It's not high resolution, but it's still a great option at this price point.
