At first the device seemed to work well. Powered my RV 13,500 A/C for 3 1/2 hours. On the second try it overheated and shut down. It was 103F outside. I also have a fan that blows across the block. It works with a current of about 14 amps. I installed it in a bay with an inch clearance on the bottom and one side with the top, back, front and one side open and the fan blowing the full length of the unit. This defeats my purpose of staying cool by turning on the AC when it's hot outside when the inverter isn't running. The high operating temperature of 104 degrees Fahrenheit is too low in my opinion. I didn't think about it at all when I bought it. So pay attention if you want to buy.
