The Bluetooth option is a game changer. sorry not sorry

I didn't have the best of childhoods and my parents never took the time to teach me about oral hygiene. I never brushed my teeth as a child, and even as an adult I struggled to develop the habit of brushing long enough and often enough. This led to tooth decay, bad breath and discoloration, which in turn led to a fear of dentists that eventually led to having a decayed tooth pulled when she was just 28 years old. I knew I had to do something. You can judge me if you want, but at least I admitted I have a problem! I scoffed at the price of this toothbrush but ended up putting it down with a coupon thinking it would at least be more effective than my old school brush. However, the app changed my whole life. Lots of people complain and whine about "BLUETOOTH IS WASTE ON A TOOTHBRUSH". It is not. The app is easy to set up and I always keep my phone in the bathroom during my morning and evening routine anyway. I use a timer to brush my teeth long enough to focus on each quadrant of my mouth at the right time. I use the speech cleaning setting to clean my tongue (revolutionary I know) and keep track of time. Reminders help me remember to brush my teeth before bed, and while I'm in the bathroom I wash my face and go through my usual skincare routine, which is a double benefit for me since I also fall asleep with makeup on . The app also asks if you've flossed and used mouthwash. Guess what? I started using dental floss and mouthwash! I'm not ashamed to say that this little piece of technology has helped me develop healthy habits that last. Did my grandmother have to put her toothbrush in? no But that doesn't mean I can't.
