I ordered the chair, assuming it would recline; not all office chairs? The instructions even tell you how to recline it by pulling the lever outward. That does not work. I didn't even feel like it had to be done. On a positive note, the vertical stiffness felt better for my back. And I've used a straight wooden chair for years with no complaints, so I gave it a try. After about a week I decided to keep it to myself. However, if I had known it wouldn't sit back I would have given up and ordered something else.
