We returned these. My son wore them out to eat - he was carried from the house to the car, and in and out of the restaurant, then carried back into the house (so he never walked on them). He was wearing socks. They still managed to rub the fronts of his ankles, turning them bright red. I imagine if he had actually done any walking in them his ankles would've been raw.My son has very fat feet, top to bottom (not wide side to side). These are not the right shoes for him. I was so hopeful, because I did manage to at least get his feet into the shoes, which I normally can't do. Alas. The search continues.
