Fits, holds and helps with aiming - recommended

I have the black version and only use the long concave (top convex) version on the right joystick. The idea was to get more "throw" of the joystick for better shooting accuracy (I mainly play Ghost Recon Wildlands). The left "move" stick didn't need more precision or sensitivity, so I didn't put anything on it, not even the short extension cord from that kit (though I might try later). It's not too big to be comfortable and seems to allow for better aim control. In the game controller settings, I've increased the speed of "gaze" and "aim" and can increase it even further, as a longer joystick allows for more precise control near the center, which then allows for faster movement at the extreme points. In this game I set the "dead zone" to zero and there is no drift. Some people have complained that they have disappeared. I don't think I will have this problem. I put mine on my Xbox One X console's controller. I've been using it for over a year without playing every day or intensively and it had some "grease" and "wax" from my fingers in the grooves at the top of the joystick, but no physical damage. I cleaned it thoroughly with wet and dry paper towels until clean and grease free, then squeezed the extension cord. I tilted and pushed him to one side to try and slide the extension over the joystick, but he didn't make it right away. Repeatedly squeezing the extension at various points below, a slight wiggle and jabbing with a small blunt tool eventually caused the extension to fall symmetrically around the top of the joystick, necessitating a good light check to verify. You should see the extension stretch evenly around the entire circumference, almost touching the thin rod under the joystick's wide rounded top. I suspect some people didn't lower the extension while fully holding the top of the joystick and part of it was clipped on top of the joystick, hidden, looks ok but not fully installed. Either that, or there are differences in some production batches, or maybe Xbox One joystick heads in different joystick eras. It is very stable and not prone to slipping or sliding during play, even when "crossing the rails". ", or by pressing down to "flick" the stick. I expect it to last a long time and since I've only used one I have a spare ready to install, in case it fails It's not heavy enough for the joystick to feel sluggish or move erratically when the thumb is removed momentarily to press a button (I don't use a claw grip to hold my controller) Small sealed zip-top plastic bag - Xbox One isn't mentioned (or any other type of console controller) no problem, fits well, nice packaging, you tear off a strip to open it the first time so you know you're getting a fresh factory kit, no returns.

Pros
  • Looking forward to it
Cons
  • Long time
