they stay on a lot better than you might expect. They weren't too difficult to use, and I didn't have any free ones. Thing is, it's a godsend to use on a controller when you need precision. It doesn't make you a superhero, but it does help overcome one of the analog stick's major drawbacks: accuracy. They extend the "throw" of the thumbsticks and thus make it easier to control small game inputs. I've found that my controls are more precise in Forza and my shooting is slightly better in Destiny.

I have the black version and only use the long concave (top convex) version on the right joystick. The idea was to get more "throw" of the joystick for better shooting accuracy (I mainly play Ghost Recon Wildlands).
