Xbox One 2 Year Update

Inexpensive. Really easy to put on. The rubber is much harder than I had hoped. It's not bad, I just wanted something softer. Works as intended. Adds a bit of softness to your analog stick, and thicker ones also increase height and can even improve accuracy in some games. Although the thick ones tend to prevent the left thumb from pressing certain keys, notably the back key. It also keeps your controller counterparts from wearing out, or gives you a surface to interact with analogues that are rubbed on plastic. Not bad, but not soft rubber. Update: I've been using it for two years now. I've added pictures of the ones I use. This set is two years old. Now I take them off and put on a new set. Actually overdue. The fit when new is pretty good. I have another X1 controller that I put them on but I don't use them very often and they still fit snugly. Worn pretty lose. Sometimes they fall over when I nudge them from the side. But they never fall when I play. You can see that the lugs are basically completely worn out. The funny thing is that in my original review I mentioned that I wish they were softer. As they age and wear out, they become quite soft. I don't like big ones. After playing with them a bit, I decided they were useless to me. The only problem with those worn-out analog covers is that if you get greasy, your fingers get slippery because the lugs wear out. Of course you can just wipe it off with your shirt. The best thing about them, aside from the extra grip they provide, is that my controllers still look like new even after hundreds of hours of use. And I don't have to open the controller to create a new set. While new counterparts require skill, knowledge and confidence to open your controller and swap parts. I did and hate working with controllers. They can break too easily or lose parts, especially the small springs on the triggers. I would give 5 stars but big ones are a waste of money for me. I bought another set as the fit is perfect and the durability is great.
