they stay on a lot better than you might expect. They weren't too difficult to use, and I didn't have any free ones. Thing is, it's a godsend to use on a controller when you need precision. It doesn't make you a superhero, but it does help overcome one of the analog stick's major drawbacks: accuracy. They extend the "throw" of the thumbsticks and thus make it easier to control small game inputs. I've found that my controls are more precise in Forza and my shooting is slightly better in Destiny. I like convex and concave shapes. They could be improved if there was a height midway between high and low. They also change the angle of the thumb well, making it a little more comfortable to use. Frankly, the Xbox One lacks joysticks.
