Review on Moog K200163 Strut Rod Bushing by Brent Webb

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Fits nicely on a '94 King Cab

I replaced the original 22 year old OEM bushings with these. Installation was easy using 1/2" drive nuts and jackhammer rods. A striking tool can be used but space is at a premium so you may need to mount the front wheels on wooden blocks to allow clearance for the striking tool. I used the front of the truck as this would change the angle of the strut post making it difficult to remove and reinstall Traction bushings wear over time The quality of the new parts seems good HOWEVER the durability of these new polymer bushings has yet to be proven. Truck forums have shown that other brands of polymer bushings have failed in just 3 months. I chose Moog based on my previous good experience with the Moog brand. If these bushings fail after a few years, maybe I will replace them with official ones if possible Replace Nissan parts I bought the truck brand new in New Mexico and the truck has always been in this desert environment so the underside of the frame has little to no rust and looks practically new. These conditions help explain why OEM bushings have lasted so long.
