This webcam is really high quality and I am very happy with my purchase. Small screens on laptops and Chromebooks put a lot of strain on my kids' eyes every day, and I wanted them to use monitors with larger screens. It's so strange, but the monitors I bought didn't come with the camera. So the kids still had to open their laptops for the teachers to see. I wanted them to rely only on monitors so I bought this webcam and hooked it up to the monitor. Now they can easily connect their laptops to a monitor and keyboard and just leave them closed and away from their desktops. The webcam records and streams video. The video resolution is excellent and it renders very good videos better than their Chromebooks/Laptops. It also records your voice. when you speak online. Mounting the camera is quite easy and doesn't take up space above the monitor. The webcam has a small shutter and can be closed for more privacy when not in use. The camera itself is adjustable, which is a pretty nice feature, and we don't have to constantly move the large monitor to adjust the video.
