Review on 🚶 3M Safety Walk Light 1" x 60' Non-Slip Tape by Jared Winebrenner

After reading a few reviews I was glad to get this lightweight stair tread tape. My wife slid down the bottom four steps and I ordered this the next day. I read a few reviews and was a bit dubious that a light step would improve traction on our wooden stairs. It does. I removed a 20" strip about 1" from the edge of each ladder and we haven't slipped since (we're both in our 20s and in good shape so it shouldn't happen that you fall off the stairs when it stops). The price of the tape was well worth it, especially knowing it would do the job. In terms of color and visibility on the wood, we have maple wood stairs and from most angles you can't even tell if there's tape. When you go down the stairs you can see the band but not because of the color mainly because it changes the texture of the step so you can see the difference. One roll is probably enough for 5 flights of stairs, 10 steps per flight.
