Contrary to other reviewers who claim the bucket itself is flimsy I think it's fine. The quality is on par with other scoops that come with kitty litter I've used or bought separately. I don't care if the edge isn't straight, but then again I use crystal cat litter (doesn't clump like regular litter) so I probably don't care. not used seems to be of sufficient quality and as there is a small shelf that the shovel actually sits on you just have to set it up correctly and use the shovel handle to close the bin by sliding it forward into the compartment. what it hides. My picture shows an open spoon as well as an opened container when empty. So if I watch it, hopefully my poor description of how it closes will become clearer. I love that I can just pop a scoop in and not have to worry about putting it in a plastic bag. That was my reason for buying this set and the price was the same (or less) just for the plastic spatula. Can't win! I can't comment on how easy the scoop is to clean as crystal litter doesn't stick or stick to it like regular litter does. That being said I don't think it will be any harder to clean than any other plastic scoop since it appears to be the same type of plastic. Haven't used it in so long so I don't know how strong the bucket and hull bay will be in the end, but I don't think it's going to fall apart any time soon. Since plastic spatulas aren't meant to last forever, I won't complain as long as I get to work with them for a few months. The spatula also seems to be similar in size to most that you can buy separately, so I think another scoop could be found to replace if needed. Others say they couldn't make it, but I'm sure there's a cheap plastic spoon online or in a store somewhere that might fit in a container. I feel that the metal scoop can weigh too much and knock over the case compartment when open, so I wouldn't recommend replacing the included scoop with a metal scoop. I definitely recommend this product, especially since there are different colors of plastic. choose. I'll definitely update my review if anything annoying happens, but for now it's working great for me.
