Review on Gates 43101 Water Pump by Keith Barra
This pump makes my truck so much cooler.
I needed a replacement water pump for my 73ft C20. This water pump has served its purpose and looks well made. Note that this pump comes with bushings and a new bolt to accommodate the space difference on the alternator bracket. Factory AC Delco pumps have slightly more metal on the casting so this bushing is required. If you install it without a bushing, you can bend the strut or possibly strip the threads in the block if you're not careful. Includes pads of paper. The pump is also made in China.
