This block worked beautifully to remove them. I spent about 15 minutes on each leg: considering this was my first use, it's not too bad. It is important to clean the roller after use, otherwise it will not be as effective. The peeled off "flaky skin powder" builds up and sticks to the roller, which is like coarse sandpaper. I sat outside on the patio to do this and recommend using it outdoors if possible or you'll get a layer of powdery white dust/dead skin all over it. The handle is comfortable and fits well in the hand. I have smaller hands and it was very convenient for me to work with.
