You will love your feet!

I had read many reviews before purchasing and was concerned by the number of complaints that the device stopped working when you hit a callus. After using it, I found that the only reason it stopped spinning was because I was pressing too hard. Applying more pressure to the callus will not help get rid of it faster. Calluses are layers of dead skin and it takes work and a little patience to get rid of them. Before my first use I had heavy calluses on my heels and on the sides of my big toes. This block worked beautifully to remove them. I spent about 15 minutes on each leg: considering this was my first use, it's not too bad. It is important to clean the roller after use, otherwise it will not be as effective. The peeled off "flaky skin powder" builds up and sticks to the roller, which is like coarse sandpaper. You'll notice a difference in how it works when it's clean and when it's not. main difference. When you open the packaging just peel off the plastic on the top and sides, it comes off pretty easily. Be sure to remove the clear plastic cap covering the roller head. It's easy to overlook and accidentally throw away. Be careful not to tear the cardboard insert - this is your instruction manual. You may need a magnifying glass to read it, although the font size is probably size 2 - no kidding! At least read or at least scroll through. The cleaning instructions are simple - the device is NOT WATERPROOF. Remove the roll by pressing the blue arrow button, pull out the roll and rinse under warm running water. Dry with a cloth towel before reuse. Simply wipe the rest of the device with a damp cloth. Be aware that fine dust will be generated when using this tool. I sat outside on the patio to do this and recommend using it outdoors if possible or you'll get a layer of powdery white dust/dead skin all over it. The handle is comfortable and fits well in the hand. I have smaller hands and it was very convenient for me to work with. The reel head spins fairly quickly and has a very smooth finish, making it very effective when used properly. As long as you are in contact with the callus, it removes it. Applying more pressure does not increase efficiency, but rather slows down the roller and, as mentioned earlier, causes it to stop spinning. When using it, it is better not to hold the roller in one place for more than a few seconds: keep moving it so as not to burn yourself (frictional heat) and not to damage the soft skin under the corns. You may not feel any burning while this is happening, but you will feel sore later. Afterwards wipe your feet with a good quality foot lotion. You will love your feet!
