One of the four was DOA

Would love to try them in our master bathroom light. Installed 3 well, then the 4th is dead. Tried in other outlets, no it doesn't work. So I returned it and ordered a new set. I confess, I really like the light color and the power. However, they clearly never tested them before packing them at the factory. I am very concerned about the long term shelf life when they arrive at DOA fresh out of the box.
