After spending most of this summer trying to keep cool at night, I finally bit the bullet and bought one of these blankets. Now I'm annoyed that I waited so long to get these because it's been my favorite blanket every night since! I've bought other "cooling" blankets in the past, but they only had coolant on one side of the blanket, so it got unbearably hot on the other side when I used them. This duvet is great because it cools both sides of the duvet so it doesn't matter which side you use. The material isn't exactly the same on either side, but I've found that either material works equally well. If in doubt, just buy it. Stop wasting time on heat and discomfort at night.
