I was looking for good walking shoes for my grandson as we have property in the White Mountains, New Hampshire. I usually have a shop where I buy his clothes and shoes, but the prices were so high that I decided to look elsewhere. My grandson will only use them for one season and then outgrow them so I was looking for quality and a reasonable price. Well these boots are both excellent quality at a very reasonable price. The boots are strong and durable on the outside for walking and climbing, but the inside of the boot is very soft and comfortable for his feet. The boots even have a metal heel piece that opens up for traction on icy terrain.
