. I bought this set of analog sticks to replace the old one that was drifting a bit, for the original Xbox One controller. The first one I put in stopped working like drifting, but one side was much more sensitive than the other. This was my very first attempt at soldering so I'm thinking it may not have been completely soldered to the board and if you look at how the joystick caps fit on the analog sticks they need to be perfectly aligned or they won't work properly. I removed the covers and just moved the sticks themselves and the movement is much smoother so I think this could be a common problem. In any case, I desoldered the new analog stick and soldered another one from the package, this time making sure it was a snug fit to the board and holding it in place by soldering a couple of corner pins. This one works great, it needs a bit of hacking, but it works 100%. Compared to the old original analog sticks, the new sticks are exactly the same ALPS brand and look the same. If they are not original then this is a very well made copy. I also liked the screwdrivers. As for durability, I'll update when the new stick starts going bad.
