The stitching on the patch is a little frayed but still very cool. The shirt is designed for heavy use in terms of thickness and strength. It's not the flimsy, crumbling shirt at the $1 general store. I can see why a skater would definitely love this because if you have to put down a deposit the shirt will hold up. The shirt also has the appearance of a white acid wash against the black/charcoal gray color of the shirt. Love the look and quality of the shirt although I haven't worn one yet - I usually wear a medium and when I throw it over it looks like a regular medium shirt so there shouldn't be any fit issues.
