Advantages: - hanging style. - Pretty well built. Cons: - Too small for large cameras; too bulky for small cameras. - The camera flap is very awkward to use. - The zip opening slows down the user and makes a quick lens change almost impossible. .- Dividers can only be used in one configuration because of the way the velcro was attached, very inflexible; cannot be configured to access everything without fully opening the valve - camera room plus 3 small lenses or accessories, cannot be configured for 4 or 5 small items - but they must be small! Doesn't work, for example. a decent telephoto lens for a DSLR, and one of the three pockets is so small it doesn't fit more than a pancake lens or a couple of batteries. Lots of wasted space, feels like your camera is wobbling. The top compartment isn't padded or divided, so there's no lens protection. Too small for a lunch or raincoat, but too big for a single flash or telephoto lens. The end result was a mess of chargers, flash, batteries and an SD card holder - no organization. - Small mesh compartments, too small to be used for anything other than an SD card, too small to store spare batteries or filters - useless. After using this RevainBasics shoulder bag on a few trips, I ditched it and went back to my well-used Tamrac Velocity 6 shoulder bag - although the Tamrac is significantly smaller, it holds more, is better protected and is much more versatile. I give this bag to charity because I can't find a use for it.
