Review on GM Genuine Parts 22807122: High-Quality Heating & AC Blower Motor Resistor by Mike Campbell

I need to correct my review. I put it in my 2005 Silverado and it didn't last long. I ordered another one, installed a new one and had the same problem. That unit turned out to be fine, and the wiring harness from the truck to that resistor was bad. When I replaced the wiring harness, I solved my problem. This resistor fits perfectly in my 2005 Silverado 1500 cockpit. It was easy to install and works well. Now all 5 fan speeds work. It looked almost identical to the originally fitted resistor it replaced.
