This raincoat is not super light weight it's perfect for rainy/windy weather. With a sweatshirt it is quite warm, so layers are your friend! With just a t-shirt it is perfect for me on a medium warm (60s) day. I also like that the hood is bigger - sort of an extra baseball cap bill almost, that can also be folded back, if necessary, for ease of sight. My only wish is for an inside pocket or two. The two covered outside pockets are fairly nice and big though.I purchased an XL and it fits a little snug over my bust when wearing over a bulky sweater (most shirts I'm XL or 1X) but it still zipped up and with a regular shirt or t-shirt it is perfect.
