I've tried so many small hoop earrings. different closure styles to almost zero (turn huggies sideways, flip, etc.) and this one stands out far from the rest - why? swing and lock - don't look for an end, don't swing for long. I think that's because it's a heavier metal which offers a lighter closing/locking mechanism. I like easy peasy and this one comes closest to me. I would give four stars as I prefer thin hoop earrings, but I haven't found a clasp that wasn't bulky for thin, minimalist hoop earrings. It works great for this heavier but impactful hoop! When searching, also make sure to check the mm for the inside of the frame. I learned that :)
