NOT metal! Best in Pipes, Fittings and Accessories
Advertisement says it's metal (brass) but it's 100% plastic. The thread on the female end is too deep so it leaks with the gasket so I added another gasket and now it's not leaking. It works for my application but if I had known it was plastic I would have bought a more expensive brass valve.
