The brush pulls out some of the hair when it is dry. You should have damp hair with this comb. I also thought it was bigger, for some reason. I think a comb with big and wide teeth would be ideal. I love the feel of the wooden comb and I love how it massages your hair as you use it. But I think maybe it's in my head and ultimately there is no difference between this comb and any other comb. Whatever it is, I'm keeping it.
