The flash drive failed every time we tried to copy some files from our computers to it correctly. My friend arrived a few days before mine. It's supposed to hold 1TB, so we wanted to move a lot of stuff from other drives for backup/storage. He tried to copy about 340 GB of music files several times in two days. I've tried ripping around 50GB MP3 files multiple times, even reformatting the drive (using the factory exFAT filesystem settings and 128KB blocks). Every time the process started smoothly, the copy speed started to slow down, and after about 1/3 of the copy, every single file started producing the same error. Our files had already been transferred to several other devices, so we knew everything was fine with the files. I tried different directories each time just to make sure no particular file or group of files got corrupted. I also found that it wasn't possible to delete the files after the errors started (hence the reformat attempt). work properly once in a while. In the end we both got our discs back. Terribly disappointing. Don't waste money on it.
