This does not work in the kitchen and dining room
I've been trying this for a while and no matter how I use it or what surface I use it on it never cuts all the way through the pear and then it all goes between the blades. It rendered a lot of onions useless to top my recipes because it crushed and crippled my poor little onion. I would only recommend this article if you like disappointment.
