Wow! Due to the many bad reviews I've received on blogs about this bluetooth transmitter, I couldn't hold my breath that this little device is working properly. BUT I WAS SO PLEASANTLY SURPRISED! This little gem works 100% as it should in my 2009 Audi Q7 MMI. I don't really understand why people had so many problems a few years ago, I think it needed some firmware updates from the Tune2air side and maybe changes to the AMI in Audi as well, but it works GREAT! The sound is clear, delays and pauses for the most part NO. Minor delays or dropouts were just poor reception, but they literally lasted less than a second and only happened 2 or 3 times in 8 hours of active use in my Audi while driving. I've only tested this product for 24 hours so we'll see if anything comes up later, but I don't expect it. Here is a comprehensive summary of what I experienced: - Pairing was INCREDIBLY easy! Connect, find device, pair, enter password. READY! - No jumps or lags other than the usual wobble that comes with any Bluetooth device - Music is SUPER CLEAR, rich, and sounds like it's on a solid line - FULL functionality of your iPod/iPhone features like listing your playlists, all buttons on your iTunes player, all streamed seamlessly via the MMI onboard the Audi, works perfectly and is not interfered with your phone's functionality by the onboard Audi Bluetooth. !- When a call comes in, the music turns off and Audi Bluetooth turns on, and when the call ends, the music continues!- When you re-enter the car after the car has been off for a certain time, the music turns back on You stopped WALKING AWAY Tune2air folks! I suspect it took years but I'm very happy to be reaping the rewards because for any Audi owner who has owned an older Audi (2007-2011) we ALL know how painful it was to do that Find REAL Bluetooth. a device that can communicate correctly with the Audi MMI onboard module.
