The sheet metal is thicker than expected. The problem I found was that the supplied foam tape for gluing the panels was too thick. When I applied the foam tape as shown in the instructions, I wasn't able to compress it enough to close the panel seam. I didn't want to over tighten the 4 screws holding the panels together, the panels started to warp and the foam would not compress even halfway, leaving a 1/2 inch gap in the panel seam. So I removed the foam tape. removed and used a bead of sealant on the surface where the panels overlap. Looks great, all I can say is either use sealant for plastic or find foam tape that is about 1/3 thick of what comes.
