The sole is quite stiff and does not have a good grip on the ground when wet. I had to hold on to the railings as I climbed up and down the aluminum posts or the plain concrete floor. There's a strap at the back of the ankle which I believe is meant to tuck shoes in, but it's so big that I've snagged it a few times on branches and anything sticking out of the ground. I had to cut this strap. Not very good shoes.
