We don't have air conditioning and in some summer months it is necessary to open the windows - some of them are old and don't have properly built in fly screens - unfortunately this is peak mosquito season and for many years we only dealt with stitches. It would be the worst for my children, especially my daughter - she would be covered in it at night. The idea for one of them came to me and I didn't implement it immediately. I finally ordered after a horrible sleep where mosquitoes bombarded me several times during the night. Why have I waited so long? :( This item is amazing. It opens right out of the box and comes with all the hanging hardware. It only took me 3 minutes to install it. I got one for my double bed and one for my daughter's single bed .It fits perfectly Mosquito problem SOLVED We've never been bothered by mosquitoes in our beds at night It's amazing to climb in and feel so safe knowing their sneaky plans are foiled I see them on the windows in the morning so I know they were there but they just won't come in. We'll be using them until the weather gets colder and the mosquitoes are gone and then I'll just put them away until next season My husband and I also said that they are.Will be great next time we go to Costa Rica where bugs are plentiful.One small problem: for some reason the one in my to's bedroom stops not on the ceiling - i think it has to do with the color , and sticky hook square include it in the kit, slowly falling off. The one above my bed has been in excellent condition since I installed it a month ago. We just screwed a cup hook to her ceiling and I haven't had any problems since. I got the non-overlap version because I didn't want these pests to be able to open the door. Getting in and out of bed is a little awkward or drinking water, but I just stick my hand in and bring in a cup, then lower the screen. There are also a few tiny gaps around the legs of the headboard but from what I've read about how mosquitoes fly it would be very random if a mosquito actually found this and so far they haven't. I bought a different brand for my son's bedroom because he has bunk beds. It's shaped like a rectangular cube and we just throw it over bunk beds like the lid of a giant box. Also amazing. 5/5 I would buy again :)
