Looks great but feels and sounds cheap

So I was so excited to put on my new watch strap but when I took it out of the box it felt so cheap that it definitely didn't feel. or it sounds like it's a stainless steal, and not only that, but the stamp on the band was in everyone's hands when I took the links out. and that's another story, the pins holding the links together were extremely difficult to get out, I had to use pliers. I will definitely not buy another one of these. And now I'm back on the hunt for a decent metal bracelet
